MOJO and the musical stylings of a vegan juice bar in Soho (CLOSED)

This morning I happened upon Mojo (8 d’Arblay Street, Soho) a juice bar that serves watermelon juice (my all-time favourite), vegetarian and vegan food, and has cakes and wifi and all things nice.
It just so happens to be within steps of where I am staying, which of course appealed to the lazy-gal-in-search-of-a-cup-of-tea in me..
When I arrived first thing this morning for some breakfast and a cup of tea, the dulcet tones of Buddy Holly piped through the speakers. By the time my food arrived, they were playing Johnny Cash, and I realised where I’d be spending all my mornings this week.

¬†Holy monkeynuts, Mojo’s smokey BBQ aubergine toastie with dehydrated tomatoes on sourdough was not only delicious, and HUGE, but also was smothered in the most glorious BBQ sauce that has ever passed my lips! I almost never order sandwiches in cafes because, well, sandwiches are something I can whip up in minutes with next to no effort. This beast may have finally changed my mind.

I can honestly say I spent about 4 hours there, drinking one watermelon cooler after another, snacking on chia, fresh blueberry and coconut pudding, matcha energy balls, and working away on my laptop whilst the impeccably curated music selection ran the gamut from Dion’s “Runaround Sue” to “Leader of the Pack”, Elvis, to Ry Cooder.

If you need me, I will be hanging out in Mojo every morning until I head back to Edinburgh, sipping my juice and stuffing my face with pure, unadulterated vegan goodness.
